The pop star has taken on an executive role in the creation of her upcoming project.
Something Beautiful is poised to be more than just an album. Recently, Miley Cyrus unveiled a trailer that accompanies the announcement of the album, hinting at a creative narrative intertwined with the album’s thirteen tracks.
The trailer, described as “a distinctive visual experience infused with fantasy, featuring thirteen original songs from the forthcoming album,” showcases a concept from the creative imagination of Miley Cyrus.
Clocking in at one and a half minutes, the trailer presents Cyrus in a variety of stunning outfits, including designs from Thierry Mugler, Jean Paul Gaultier, Alexander McQueen, and Alaïa. In brief scenes, she can be seen navigating the streets of Los Angeles, posing in studio settings, and sharing intimate moments with an unidentified partner. The visuals are complemented by brief audio snippets, hinting at the music fans can expect from the album.
At the conclusion of the trailer, Cyrus poses a poignant question: “If I break away any bodies between us, would you promise I’m enough? If I give you all my love?”

The film is set to debut in June, just after the album’s release on May 30. Cyrus is co-directing the film alongside Jacob Bixenman, who has previously worked on “Flowers” and other music videos from her album Endless Summer Vacation, as well as Brendan Walter, a director known for his work with artists like Marina, Shawn Mendes, and Lorde. The visual narrative will be captured by cinematographer Benoît Debie, recognized for his work in films such as Spring Breakers and The Sisters Brothers. Production credits include Cyrus, XYZ, Panos Cosmatos, her label Columbia Records, and Live Nation.
The newly released trailer also highlights that the album, co-executively produced by Cyrus and Shawn Everett, will feature thirteen tracks. Something Beautiful marks Cyrus’ ninth studio album and arrives two years after Endless Summer Vacation and Plastic Hearts, which were released in 2023 and 2020, respectively.
