Millana Snow stands out in the wellness scene of Los Angeles with a distinctive approach that emphasizes genuine transformation. The breathwork and meditation specialist has gained recognition for her personalized coaching sessions, which cater to a diverse clientele, including high-profile individuals and even a member of the Royal Family. Set to release her first book in 2025, currently untitled, she is expanding her reach through initiatives like her online healing circle, The Monthly Integration.
Snow describes her breathwork technique as an “out of this world” experience, which, in practice, guides individuals through visualization and physiological meditation. This not only aids in aligning with one’s spiritual core but also fosters a sense of confidence by encouraging reflective practices and a judgment-free approach to life’s challenges.
Her journey in wellness is rooted in years of personal practice, having started meditating at a young age. By merging elements from her Afro-Latina background and her fervor for subjects such as religion, anthropology, and psychology, Snow developed her unique healing methodology while navigating the entertainment industry as a model and actress. Her approach resonates widely, finding a community of followers both online and through personal recommendations.
Recently, Snow shared key elements of her wellness rituals that help her maintain peak physical and mental well-being, highlighting the importance of early mornings and intimate connections.
What is your wellness-inspired morning routine?
I prioritize waking up very early, usually around 5 a.m. or even 4:30 a.m. during the winter months.
Wow — why so early?
The beauty of this time is solitude. There are no distractions, and I can reflect without the demands of others. Moreover, ancient Indian traditions suggest that early mornings, especially between 4 a.m. and 6 a.m., are optimal for spiritual openness.
What is something unexpected about your wellness routine?
Interestingly, my husband and I sleep in separate beds. I genuinely recommend this practice.
I bet people have a lot of opinions about this. When did you start that?
We established this routine after a year of being together; he’s a light sleeper while I’m not, so it just made sense for us to prioritize restful sleep. When I suggested it, he was completely on board.
Does sleeping in separate rooms affect your sex life at all?
Not at all! In fact, we enjoy intimate moments almost every morning at around 5:30. The ambiance in our space is inspiring, although I do make sure to brush my teeth first!
I love the transparency. What’s your morning beverage of choice?
I enjoy a matcha latte made with organic matcha from Costco—it’s fantastic. I savor it alongside my reading before diving into my Morning Pages from The Artist’s Way, which I do for half an hour. While traditionally handwritten, I often type my thoughts, as some find their way into my upcoming book.
Do you have a fitness routine?
Every morning, I take a peaceful three-mile walk around Silver Lake, equipped with a 30-pound rucksack.
At this point in the morning, have you touched your phone yet?
I’ve kept my phone use minimal. I decided earlier this year to limit my Instagram activity to only posting; I do not browse for content.
How do you balance being a spiritual leader and a content creator?
Writing my book has highlighted the importance of depth over digital presence. My focus is on producing quality work rather than being overly concerned with social media engagement. Delivering excellence ultimately resonates more with my audience.
