Miranda Lambert is taking criticism in stride.
The acclaimed country artist shared various images and clips on Instagram on February 28, showcasing an outing where she participated in yoga with goats. Wearing form-fitting leggings, Lambert attracted both praise and criticism, prompting her to respond to one particularly negative remark.
In the comments under Lambert’s post, a user expressed their distaste, writing, “Yikes, legging type pants are not attractive on people with a little extra here and there. They don’t do you any favors.”
The same commenter added, “You are too beautiful to display the unattractive parts. I’m not a fan of leggings on anyone, actually. I’ve seen way more of a person’s business than I wanted to.”
In response, Lambert shared a screenshot of the comment on her Instagram Stories, quipping, “Good to know! I’ll do better about displaying my ‘unattractive parts.'”
The singer received overwhelming support from her fans, with one user commenting, “I wanna be as cool as you when I grow up.”
Another fan wrote, “You’re beautiful! When I took that goat photo I just kept clicking because you looked so happy and just having fun. Glad you liked it.”
A third supporter expressed, “Love you for being you.”
Lambert is no stranger to addressing criticism. Earlier this month, she posted a video where she read disapproving comments about her collaboration with Morgan Wallen as an opening act for his upcoming tour, titled “I’m the Problem.”
She captioned the clip with humor, stating, “I appreciate that y’all aren’t afraid to hold back ,” and labeled it “Mean Tweets: Morgan Wallen Tour Edition.”
Among the comments she read was one expressing shock, saying, “Hm, team Miranda forever, but this comes as a shock,” while another remarked, “This ain’t it, sis.”
One commenter expressed disappointment, saying, “I’m so disappointed in both of you, may God forgive you both.” Lambert humorously retorted, “We’re really doing bad on this tour, Morgan.”
Concerns also arose when a fan pointed out that Texas was absent from Wallen’s tour dates. Lambert, a Texas native, acknowledged that it “sucks” she wouldn’t be able to perform in her home state.
Another fan questioned why Lambert had not won the title of entertainer of the year, despite receiving the award at the ACMs in 2022. They also inquired why she was not headlining the shows, stating, “I’m so confused why you haven’t been entertainer of the year the last several years. I’m further confused on why you’d be opening for anyone. You should be the headliner. What’s going on?”
Lambert concluded the video with a lighthearted acknowledgement of the feedback, exclaiming, “Thanks for the support!”
