Monument Valley 3 Set to Debut This Summer on PC and Consoles
Ustwo Games has officially announced that the highly anticipated Monument Valley 3 will make its way to PC and consoles this summer. This new installment in the critically acclaimed isometric puzzle series first premiered on Netflix’s mobile gaming platform last December, and it is now set to broaden its reach, although it will remain a mobile exclusive for Netflix users.
In this latest adventure, players will take on the role of Noor, who embarks on a quest to discover a vital source of light to counteract an encroaching darkness. Players will navigate Noor through various perplexing puzzles while exploring the environment from her boat. The game offers flexibility in controls, supporting both gamepad and mouse-and-keyboard setups.
In related news presented during Nintendo’s recent Direct event, Ustwo revealed that the original Monument Valley games—both Monument Valley 1 and 2—will also be making their console debut. These re-releases are scheduled for April 15 on platforms including the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Xbox Series X/S. Notably, these versions will maintain the essence of the original PC releases but will be specifically optimized for larger screens.
In a charitable effort coinciding with the release of Monument Valley 3, Ustwo Games announced a partnership with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. The company will allocate 3% of the profits from Monument Valley to assist communities and families impacted by recent flooding, highlighting their commitment to social responsibility.
