The Motorola Edge 60 Pro is anticipated to make its debut in India shortly. Following its launch in several international markets, including the standard Motorola Edge 60 model, reliable sources suggest that the device could be available in India as early as the end of this month. The Indian version is expected to mirror its global counterpart in terms of features.
Update: The company has officially announced that the Motorola Edge 60 Pro will be launched in India on April 30, according to a post on X.
Motorola Edge 60 Pro India Launch Date
According to tipster Abhishek Yadav (@yabhishekhd), the Motorola Edge 60 Pro is on track for its Indian launch, with speculation that it may arrive at the end of the month. An official announcement from Motorola is expected shortly, providing further details.
As for specifications, the Indian variant of the Motorola Edge 60 Pro is likely to feature a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Extreme SoC, a robust 6,000mAh battery supported by 90W fast charging, and a sophisticated camera setup that includes three 50-megapixel sensors. It is anticipated that these specifications will remain consistent with those of the global model.
The camera system in the global edition of the Motorola Edge 60 Pro includes a primary 50-megapixel Sony Lytia 700C sensor equipped with optical image stabilization (OIS), a secondary 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 10-megapixel telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom. Additionally, there is a front-facing 50-megapixel camera for selfies.
Other notable features of the global variant include an IP68 and IP69 rating for dust and water resistance, a 6.67-inch 1.5K pOLED display supporting up to a 120Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness reaching 4,500 nits. The device is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i and runs on Android 15 with the Hello UI overlay.
In recent developments, Motorola also launched the Edge 60 Stylus and Edge 60 Fusion models in India, with prices starting at Rs. 22,999 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration of these new devices.
