Motorola Prepares to Launch the Razr+ (2025) with Impressive Specifications
The upcoming Motorola Razr+ (2025) is set to captivate smartphone enthusiasts with its advanced features and specifications. At the core of this device is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite application processor, the same powerful chipset found in Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Ultra. This robust processing capability will be complemented by an impressive configuration of up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.
One notable highlight of the Razr+ (2025) is its internal display, which will reportedly measure 7 inches diagonally for the first time. The display utilizes LTPO AMOLED technology and boasts a remarkable refresh rate of 165Hz, along with a peak brightness of up to 4,500 nits, ensuring vibrant visuals and fluid animations.
As part of its promotional activities, Motorola teased the launch date, capturing attention with a tweet showcasing the hashtag #MakeItIconic.
The external display of the Razr+ (2025) maintains a compact size of 4 inches while also supporting refresh rates of up to 165Hz. Offering excellent visibility, this screen can achieve a brightness of up to 3,000 nits. The camera setup is another standout feature, including a primary 50MP rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture and optical image stabilization (OIS), accompanied by a 50MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 50MP front-facing camera.
Powering the device is a 4,700mAh battery, a notable upgrade from the previous model’s 4,000mAh battery, capable of charging at 68W through a wired connection and 30W wirelessly. This enhancement promises longer usage times and faster charging capabilities, catering to users who are always on the go.
Despite some disappointment over the pre-installed Android 15 operating system, it’s widely anticipated that Android 16 will not be available at launch, given the proximity of the release date on April 24. The dimensions of the Razr+ (2025) are 171.48 x 73.99 x 7.29mm when unfolded and 88.12 x 73.99 x 15.69mm when closed, resulting in a weight of 199 grams. Connectivity options are extensive, supporting Dual SIM, 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, GPS, and USB Type-C.
This spec sheet suggests that the Razr+ (2025) could pose a significant challenge to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7, with Motorola aiming to attract a new customer base by enhancing the features of its flagship flip phone. As anticipation builds for the official launch, many are eager to see how this new device will perform in a competitive smartphone market.
