Motorola has officially introduced its 2025 foldable smartphone lineup, marking a significant evolution for the Razr series, which will now feature three distinct models. This includes a baseline Razr model, a more advanced Razr+, and the high-end Razr Ultra. Each device showcases an elegant foldable design, enhanced hinge strength, large displays, and an attractive array of vibrant Pantone color options.
Vibrant Colors and Enhanced Durability
While all three models share a similar aesthetic, they differ in key specifications. The entry-level Razr is powered by a MediaTek processor, with the Razr+ and Ultra opting for Snapdragon chips for improved performance. Notably, the Razr Ultra features the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, the same chip found in Samsung’s top-tier devices, which Motorola claims is currently the fastest available in the foldable smartphone category.

Motorola’s collaboration with Pantone, also seen in the 2025 Moto G Stylus, takes center stage with these models, offering a delightful palette of striking colors and finishes. The standard Razr is available in shades like Spring Bud, Gibraltar Sea, Parfait Pink, and Lightest Sky. The Razr+ adds rich options such as Mocha Mousse, Midnight Blue, and Hot Pink, while the Ultra provides the most luxurious finishes, including Rio Red, Scarab, Cabaret, and Mountain Trail, with an innovative wood finish reminiscent of the brand’s earlier customization options. This variety contrasts sharply with many competing devices that offer limited color choices.

Despite their similar dimensions, the Ultra distinguishes itself with a larger display measuring seven inches, thanks to its reduced bezel size. This model further elevates the viewing experience with a higher resolution of 2992 x 1224, offering a “Super HD” experience that surpasses many competitors within the same price range.
