Motorola recently introduced its latest Razr 60 series foldable smartphones alongside the Edge 60 and Edge 60 Pro, while also unveiling a new smartwatch and true wireless earbuds (TWS).
Moto Watch Fit
The Moto Watch Fit serves as an affordable smartwatch, showcasing a 1.9-inch OLED display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and capable of peaking at 1,000 nits brightness. Operating on a custom real-time operating system (RTOS), it does not support third-party applications. The watch connects via Bluetooth 5.3 to any Android device, allowing users to design custom watch faces using the Moto AI feature through the dedicated app.
Featuring an aluminum exterior, the Moto Watch Fit boasts an IP68 rating and is also rated for 5 ATM water resistance, making it suitable for various environments. It tracks essential health metrics, including heart rate, blood oxygen levels, sleep patterns, and stress levels. Additionally, the device encompasses over 100 sports modes and includes a built-in GPS for accurate tracking during activities like running.
However, it lacks a microphone and speakers, so users cannot make calls directly through the watch. The battery life is impressive, lasting up to 16 days on a single charge.
The Moto Watch Fit is priced at €79/£89 and is anticipated to hit the shelves in May.
Moto Buds Loop
Moto Buds Loop marks Motorola’s inaugural venture into open-ear earbuds. These earbuds come equipped with 12mm drivers and dual microphones designed for voice clarity and noise reduction. Enhanced with Bose sound technology and offering spatial audio capabilities, they provide an enriching listening experience. Battery performance reaches up to 8 hours on a single charge, extending to 37 hours when utilized with the charging case.
The earbuds are available in Trekking Green and Pantone French Oak, with the standard model priced at £129.99 and a Swarovski edition available for £249.99.
