Mrs. GREEN APPLE’s single “KUSUSHIKI” continues to dominate the Billboard Japan Hot 100 chart, securing the No. 1 position for a second consecutive week as of April 23.

Meanwhile, the opening theme for The Apothecary Diaries Season 2 Part 2 made a remarkable entrance at No. 6, swiftly climbing to No. 1 the following week. However, the track has seen a drop in various metrics: downloads fell by 61%, streaming decreased by 90%, and video views dropped by 63%. Conversely, karaoke points surged by 142%, and radio airplay skyrocketed by 292%. This three-man band’s latest hit leads in streaming and radio metrics, ranking No. 3 in downloads, No. 2 in video, and No. 59 in karaoke performance.

ME:I’s track “MUSE” made a significant leap from No. 73 to No. 2. After premiering on March 26 and briefly leaving the chart, it re-emerged at No. 85 on April 9. Following an upward trajectory to No. 73 the next week, “MUSE” ascends to No. 2 this week, largely thanks to impressive CD sales totaling 234,404 copies.

HANA’s “ROSE” has declined to No. 3 on the chart. The song, which has already spent three weeks at the top of the video charts, ranks at No. 13 for downloads, No. 2 for streaming, and No. 7 for radio airplay.

Following closely at No. 4 is Mrs. GREEN APPLE’s “Lilac,” which has also dropped a position. This song has proved particularly engaging in karaoke, maintaining the top spot in that category for an impressive 15 weeks since its release on January 15.

Sakanaction’s “Kaiju” remains steady at No. 5. The song experienced declines across downloads, streaming, and radio, while gaining slightly in karaoke performance with a 101% increase compared to the previous week.

Debuting at No. 7 is King Gnu’s “TWILIGHT!!!,” which serves as the theme song for the animated film Detective Conan: One-Eyed Flashback. In just three days, the song achieved 14,679 downloads, topping that metric, while securing No. 25 for streaming, No. 8 for video, and No. 12 for radio. On the launch day of the song, King Gnu hosted a free live performance in Kabukicho, Tokyo, attracting about 6,000 attendees—the highest number ever recorded for that location.

Just outside the top 10, “GBAD (Number_i Remix),” a collaboration between Jackson Wang and Number_i, enters the chart at No. 13. It ranks No. 2 in downloads, No. 56 in streaming, and No. 37 in video views.
