“Mythic Quest” Concludes After Four Seasons on Apple TV+

The acclaimed workplace comedy “Mythic Quest” has officially been canceled after completing its fourth season on Apple TV+. However, fans of the series can look forward to a special farewell. The series finale, originally aired on March 26, will be reworked and presented as an updated finale next week, effectively providing a proper sendoff for the beloved show.

In a shared statement, executive producers Megan Ganz, David Hornsby, and Rob McElhenney reflected on the journey of “Mythic Quest,” emphasizing the challenges of creating a conclusion. “Endings are hard,” they acknowledged. “But after four incredible seasons, ‘Mythic Quest’ is coming to a close. We’re so proud of the show and the world we got to build — and deeply grateful to every cast and crew member who poured their heart into it. Because endings are hard, with Apple’s blessing we made one final update to our last episode — so we could say goodbye, instead of just game over.”

A Glimpse into “Mythic Quest”

The series provided a unique perspective on the development of the biggest multiplayer video game in history, highlighting the struggles and triumphs that occur not just in the digital realm but within the office environment as well. The show’s characters navigated both the fictional challenges of their game and the real-life dynamics of workplace relationships.

Available Content on Apple TV+

All four seasons of “Mythic Quest” are currently available for streaming worldwide on Apple TV+. Additionally, viewers can explore “Side Quest,” an expansion that offers an anthology-style look into the lives of various employees, players, and fans influenced by the game, enhancing the “Mythic Quest” universe.

The fourth season continued to feature a strong ensemble cast, including McElhenney, Charlotte Nicdao, David Hornsby, Danny Pudi, Ashly Burch, Imani Hakim, Jessie Ennis, and Naomi Ekperigin, who all contributed to the show’s distinctive blend of humor and heartfelt storytelling.

In closing, the executive producers extended their gratitude to the fans, saying, “To all our fans, thank you for playing with us. To our partners at Apple, thank you for believing in the vision from the very beginning.”

“Mythic Quest” was produced in collaboration with Lionsgate, 3 Arts Entertainment, and Ubisoft, marking a significant achievement in digital storytelling and workplace comedy.
