Nanaimo, B.C., police are seeking assistance from the public in locating a man linked to a voyeurism incident.
On March 3, personnel at the Nanaimo Aquatic Centre, located at 741 Third Ave., reported the discovery of a camera surreptitiously set up in the door of a changing room.
Authorities indicated that while two men were recorded on the footage, they have managed to identify one, leaving the other still unknown.
Police confirmed that there are no images involving children captured in the video. After reviewing the footage, investigators determined that the recording occurred on Saturday, January 18, 2025.
R/Const. Gary O’Brien from the Nanaimo RCMP stated, “Investigators are asking the public for their assistance in identifying the second adult man as they believe he has information that may further this investigation.”
The unidentified individual is described as a man in his mid-20s with short, dark black hair. Anyone with relevant information or knowledge about the identity of this individual is urged to contact the Nanaimo RCMP’s non-emergency line at 250-754-2345.
