Nayanthara Completes Filming for Dear Students, Shares Playful BTS Clips
Nayanthara has completed filming her anticipated movie, Dear Students.
The actress has wrapped up her role in Dear Students, with the film’s production team releasing an entertaining behind-the-scenes (BTS) video showcasing highlights from the set. Nayanthara took the opportunity to collaborate once again with Nivin Pauly, her co-star from Love Action Drama.
The BTS footage offers a delightful mix of lighthearted interactions involving Nayanthara, Nivin Pauly, and other cast members, reflecting the camaraderie developed during filming. The production team expressed their gratitude, stating, “That’s a wrap on Dear Students! Huge thanks to our cast, crew, and everyone. Stay tuned for what’s next! #DearStudentsMovie.”
The project was officially announced on April 14, 2024, and is helmed by directors Sandeep Kumar and George Philip. In addition to her acting role, Nayanthara, along with Nivin Pauly, will also co-produce the film through their respective production companies. The movie’s soundtrack is being composed by Mujeeb Majeed, with vocals contributed by Jmymah in the motion poster.
In a separate statement on social media, Nayanthara recently addressed her fans and the media regarding the ‘Lady Superstar’ title that has been associated with her. In a candid message, she emphasized that while such accolades are deeply meaningful, they sometimes create an unnecessary divide between an artist and their work. For her, the name Nayanthara embodies more than just her role as an actress; it represents her identity as an individual.
“Many of you have generously referred to me as ‘Lady Superstar,’ a title that carries immense affection. I am truly grateful for such recognition. Nevertheless, I kindly ask you to refer to me simply as ‘Nayanthara.’ This name resonates with me more personally, reflecting who I am not just in my professional life but also in my personal existence. While titles and accolades are cherished, they can create a barrier that distances us from our craft and the genuine relationship we have with you, our audience,” she shared.
She further articulated that her bond with fans transcends mere labels, stating, “I feel we communicate through a universal language of love that connects us beyond boundaries. Even though the future is uncertain for all of us, I am overwhelmed by your unwavering support, and I remain committed to entertaining you. Cinema unites us, and let’s continue to celebrate it together.”
On the professional front, Nayanthara’s most recent film, Test, is now available for streaming on Netflix.
