Nushrratt Bharuccha Shares Her Heartfelt Admiration for Ranbir Kapoor Over Kartik Aaryan
In a recent interview, Nushrratt Bharuccha opened up about her unwavering admiration for Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor, emphasizing that he will always hold a special place in her heart above her long-time colleague Kartik Aaryan.
Bharuccha, known for her candid nature, spoke with journalist Shubhankar Mishra about her strong feelings for Kapoor, revealing the depth of her appreciation for his artistic talents. Despite the industry buzzing around her collaborations with Kartik Aaryan, Nushrratt’s loyalty to Ranbir is evident and deeply personal.
“I started my journey with Kartik, and we have worked together extensively, which makes it difficult for me to view him through the audience’s eyes anymore,” she said. “In a way, he has become my friend, a partner in creative endeavors. Our chemistry is natural, but my admiration for Ranbir transcends that—it’s rooted in his artistry.”
Nushrratt and Kartik have collaborated in notable films such as *Pyaar Ka Punchnama*, *Akaash Vani*, *Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2*, and the successful *Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety*. They also made brief appearances together in Luv Ranjan’s *Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar*, which features Ranbir alongside Shraddha Kapoor. However, her connection with Ranbir seems to come from a different, more profound place.
Reflecting on her admiration for Ranbir, Bharuccha mentioned that the pivotal moment for her was his performance in the film *Rockstar*. “That movie was transformative for me,” she expressed with enthusiasm. “I can vividly recall the scene where he stands under a dilapidated house, embodying despair and longing in a way that’s simply breathtaking. The look in his eyes—it’s an experience that transcends mere acting to touch the very essence of the character.”
When probed about whether her feelings teetered on obsession, she playfully dismissed the notion, stating, “I wouldn’t classify it as obsession; it’s more of a profound admiration. It’s not a personal infatuation—I hardly know him as a person since we’ve only shared a limited time on set. What I truly appreciate is his craft and skill; I simply love watching him perform.”
Her appreciation for Ranbir’s work is so significant that when asked to compare him to the legendary Shah Rukh Khan, her answer was swift: “If it’s a matter of work, then it’s definitely Ranbir Kapoor. But for an on-screen romance, I would choose Shah Rukh sir without hesitation.”
Currently, Nushrratt Bharuccha is engaged with her latest project, *Chhorii 2*, a supernatural thriller available on various OTT platforms. Yet, it appears that her admiration for Ranbir Kapoor lingers in her thoughts, capturing a moment from *Rockstar* that continues to inspire her artistic journey.
