In Columbus, rain from overnight is expected to transition to snow early Wednesday morning, with a mix of rain and snow predicted during the early rush hour, likely until around 8 a.m.
Post rush hour, the weather should remain predominantly snowy.

As the week progresses, a notable drop in temperatures and strong winds, peaking at 40 mph, are expected to begin Wednesday night. Wind chills could plummet into single digits and even fall below zero as the days continue.

Friday: A mostly sunny day is in store, with a high near 38. The night will bring mostly cloudy skies and lows around 29.
Saturday: Cloudy skies with a 60% chance of rain after 1 p.m., and a high near 45 expected. A 70% chance of rain lingers into Saturday night, primarily before 1 a.m., with lows around 38.
Sunday: There is a 30% chance of rain. The day is likely to be mostly cloudy, with highs around 46 degrees.
Sunday Night: Conditions will remain mostly cloudy, with lows around 35.
Monday: Anticipate mostly cloudy conditions with a high near 47 degrees.
