What kind of weather can we expect when traveling in the off-season?
Visiting Mallorca outside the peak season offers a chance to enjoy the island’s beauty without the overwhelming summer crowds. While summer is renowned for its high temperatures and busy beaches, winter presents a more moderate climate. Though the cool air can feel brisk, particularly in older homes that lack insulation, sunny days are frequent and when the sun shines, it adds a pleasant warmth to the experience.

What does your perfect Saturday look like?
A quintessential Saturday for me includes a long stroll, a lovely picnic, and if the weather permits, a refreshing swim in the sea. Recently, I’ve relocated to the southern region of the island and have been concentrating on uncovering its hidden treasures. My ideal plan is to wander without a predetermined endpoint, seeking secluded coves and peaceful spots. My partner often ventures into the water with the hope of catching our dinner. However, these hidden gems are precious, and I prefer to keep their locations private.
Do you have a favorite activity during this time of year?
The tranquility of the off-season provides an excellent opportunity to socialize with friends. We’ve started a delightful tradition of cooking arròs brut over an open fire in a large pot for a group of 10 to 15 people at home. I cherish these gatherings, which can last all day, culminating in a sense of community and fulfillment.
