The 2025 festival will feature The 1975 headlining the iconic Pyramid Stage on Friday, June 26, while Olivia Rodrigo is slated to close the festival on Sunday night. Neil Young, performing with his band Chrome Hearts, will return to Worthy Farm for the second time since his last appearance in 2009.
The weekend’s schedule will also see performances from Loyle Carner, The Prodigy, and acclaimed artist Charli XCX, who has won five BRIT Awards, among others. They will take over The Other Stage throughout the festival weekend from June 25 to 29.
Additional artists included in the latest lineup announcements are Doechii, Alanis Morissette, Tate McRae, Father John Misty, Ezra Collective, Lola Young, RAYE, Noah Kahan, Biffy Clyro, Gracie Abrams, and Wolf Alice. A complete list of performers can be found below.
In a key part of the festival’s programming, Rod Stewart is set to perform in the prestigious legends slot on Sunday, June 29. Stewart, who previously headlined the festival in 2002 alongside Coldplay and Stereophonics, is returning at the age of 79.
Tickets for Glastonbury 2025 were made available for purchase in November, and they sold out within an hour due to high demand and the introduction of a new online queuing system. A resale is typically organized in early April to accommodate those who could not complete their purchases, with more details expected to be released soon.
The 1975, having previously played at the festival in 2014 and 2016, are set to make a significant return as headliners, coinciding with hints of new music which frontman Matty Healy suggested was in the pipeline during a fan interaction last February.
Speculation about Rodrigo’s headlining role was fueled by her upcoming UK tour schedule, which includes significant performances, such as at BST Hyde Park in London and rescheduled dates in Manchester. The artist made her Glastonbury debut in 2022, joined onstage by Lily Allen for an energetic version of “F–ck You.” View their performance here.
Neil Young’s announcement in January about his return to Glastonbury followed a period of controversy where he briefly withdrew from the lineup, calling the festival a “corporate turn-off.” However, he later clarified his position in a statement, expressing his eagerness to perform at the beloved festival.
Reflecting on the previous year, Glastonbury 2024 featured headliners Dua Lipa, SZA, and Coldplay, with Coldplay achieving a milestone by becoming the first act to headline the festival five times after their earlier performances in 2002, 2005, 2011, and 2016.
