OnePlus 13 Set for Launch: Enhanced Camera Features and Specifications
The OnePlus 13 is set to debut on October 31, showcasing a design reminiscent of its predecessor while incorporating significant upgrades, particularly in its camera technology. While the phone maintains its triple-camera configuration on the rear, each of the lenses will see enhancements to improve overall photo quality.
Revealed through official announcements on Weibo, the flagship will feature a main wide camera embedded with the Sony LYT-808 sensor alongside a 50MP telephoto lens and an ultrawide camera. Notably, the telephoto lens will abandon the traditional periscope design in favor of a dual-prism configuration. This change not only contributes to a more compact design but also enhances the camera’s overall efficiency.
Color Variants: Obsidian Secret, White Dawn, and Blue Hour
The updated camera system is the result of a continued partnership with Hasselblad, known for its expertise in imaging technology. The new 3x telephoto camera will now feature a sensor approximately 33% smaller than that of its predecessor, measuring 1/1.95 inches. Additionally, it includes an f/2.6 aperture and has a circular design that is expected to enhance light capture capabilities.
