OnePlus 13T Readies for Global Launch Following China Debut
The OnePlus 13T, a compact smartphone, is set to make its global debut after a short launch in China. Although the company announced a shift away from T-branded models, it appears that market demand has prompted a change in strategy.
After a hiatus of three years, OnePlus is reintroducing its T-series with a device that aims to provide an appealing alternative to standard flagship models, offering greater value to consumers.
Despite limited official details from OnePlus, a series of leaks have generated significant buzz around the OnePlus 13T, particularly its color options. The latest leak presents a rather striking image of the device in a pink shade that appears rather muted.
A recent leak shows the OnePlus 13T alongside the iPhone 15, highlighting how the pink color of the OnePlus device may come off as less vibrant compared to its competitor. In the leaked image, the pink hue is almost lilac, raising questions about its actual appearance in real-world conditions. It is anticipated that customers will have several color choices at launch, diverging from traditional options.
As of now, it is unclear whether this particular shade of pink will be exclusive to the Chinese market or if it will also be available globally. OnePlus has yet to announce specifics regarding international availability, with their focus currently on the Chinese release.
The only confirmed specification from OnePlus regarding the 13T is its impressive battery capacity of 6,200 mAh. Additional reports indicate that the device will feature a 6.31-inch LTPO OLED display boasting a 120 Hz refresh rate, slightly larger than the standard Galaxy S25’s display.
Powering the OnePlus 13T will be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, ensuring robust performance. The smartphone will boast a dual camera system, which includes a 50 MP main shooter paired with a 50 MP telephoto lens that offers 2x optical zoom.
However, an anticipated change that some users may not welcome is the removal of the iconic Alert Slider. In its place, OnePlus plans to introduce a new customizable smart button, which could offer some flexibility for user preferences.
The excitement surrounding the OnePlus 13T indicates a promising return to the T-series lineup, as it seeks to blend functionality and distinct design elements in a competitive smartphone market.
