OnePlus 13T: Performance Insights and Upcoming Launch

Recently, OnePlus made an official announcement regarding the upcoming OnePlus 13T, set to debut later this month. While earlier leaks provided a foundation of expectations, recent confirmations have clarified several critical specifications of the device.

The OnePlus 13T has recently appeared on the AnTuTu benchmarking platform under the model number PKX110, which had previously surfaced in several leaks and certification documents. A notable highlight is its impressive AnTuTu score of 3,006,913, placing it ahead of the current benchmark leader, the vivo X200 Pro. Nonetheless, it’s prudent to approach pre-release AnTuTu scores with cautious optimism, as they may reflect enhanced performance metrics that are not fully indicative of real-world usage.

Insights from earlier leaks suggest that the OnePlus 13T promises substantial power, largely attributed to an upgraded thermal management system and the new Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. A teaser released by OnePlus further emphasizes the device’s performance capabilities, generating excitement about its potential. Of course, the true test will come when the device is available for hands-on reviews.

According to the AnTuTu listing, the phone features a robust configuration with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage. While this represents one of the configurations showcased in the benchmarks, it’s expected that OnePlus will offer additional options to cater to different user preferences. The device is also confirmed to operate on Android 15 and is equipped with a 120Hz display, promising a smooth visual experience.

In terms of display size, the OnePlus 13T is believed to feature a 6.31-inch screen with a 1.5K resolution. This size may be considered compact, especially when compared to the 6.8-inch display of its predecessor, the OnePlus 13. Consequently, for those in search of a more manageable flagship device, the 13T could be an ideal choice, particularly when assessed against contemporaneous offerings from other major Chinese manufacturers.

The OnePlus 13T is poised to compete with key flagship models, including the Galaxy S25 and Pixel 9, as these devices share comparable screen dimensions. However, OnePlus may have some competitive advantages to differentiate itself from Samsung and Google. One noteworthy feature is the rumored massive 6,200 mAh battery, which supports an impressive 80W fast charging capability. This represents an upgrade from the 6,000 mAh battery found in the OnePlus 13 and significantly outpaces the Galaxy S25’s 25W charging and the Pixel 9’s 27W charging speeds.
