OnePlus has re-entered the flagship market with the introduction of its T-series phones after a three-year pause. The OnePlus 13T marks a significant departure from its predecessor, the OnePlus 13, with a strong focus on ergonomics and user experience. This latest model was launched in China and is anticipated to reach global markets in the near future.
Positioned as a premium compact flagship, the OnePlus 13T boasts a 6.32-inch LTPO AMOLED display that supports FHD+ resolution and features an adaptable refresh rate ranging from 1Hz to 120Hz.
With dimensions of just over 150mm (5.9 inches) in height and under 72mm (2.8 inches) in width, the OnePlus 13T is designed for easy handling with one hand. The device’s screen integrates an optical fingerprint scanner and houses a 16MP front-facing camera, all protected by a layer of Oppo Crystal Shield Glass.
Notably, the traditional Alert Slider has been replaced by a “Shortcut Key.” This innovative button not only toggles between different sound profiles but is also customizable, allowing users to quickly launch their preferred applications or shortcuts.
In contrast to many compact smartphones that compromise battery size, the OnePlus 13T includes a robust 6,260mAh silicon-carbon battery, complemented by 80W fast charging capabilities. To ensure optimal performance, the device is equipped with a substantial 4400mm² VC cooling system, enhancing thermal management.
On the camera front, the OnePlus 13T is impressive, featuring a 50MP primary camera that utilizes an IMX906 sensor alongside a 50MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom.
Powering the device is Qualcomm’s top-of-the-line Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, which can be configured with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage, catering to users with varying needs.
In terms of software, the OnePlus 13T runs on ColorOS 15 based on Android 15, with the international variant expected to operate on OxygenOS. The device also offers IP65 ratings for water and dust resistance, adding an additional layer of durability for everyday use.
The OnePlus 13T is available in three colors: Gray, Pink, and Black. The starting model, featuring 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, is priced at CNY 3,399 (approximately $446) in China, while the premium version with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage retails for CNY 4,499 (roughly $617). Pre-orders have commenced, with shipping slated to begin on April 30.
