OnePlus Reverses Price Increase for Watch 3Now Available for $349.99Company to Refund Previous Purchasers
OnePlus has announced a significant reduction in the price of its OnePlus Watch 3, now set at $349.99 in the United States.
Spenser Blank, Head of Marketing & Communications for OnePlus North America, explained to TechRadar that the price hike to $499.99 initiated on April 10 was a reaction to “the current market conditions.” While the specifics were not detailed, it is widely suspected that recent tariff uncertainties influenced this decision.
“After further evaluation, we’re pleased to announce that recent adjustments in our supply chain have enabled us to pass some savings on to consumers interested in purchasing the OnePlus Watch 3 in the U.S.,” the company stated.
This adjustment means that what is regarded as the top Android smartwatch for battery life in 2025 is now only $20 above its anticipated launch price.
Furthermore, for those who purchased the watch at the original price of $499.99, OnePlus has committed to providing a full refund of the difference, with affected customers set to be contacted directly by the company’s Customer Support Team.
OnePlus Watch 3: A Positive Price Adjustment
OnePlus indicated that this price reduction is part of its commitment to transparency and responsiveness, aimed at making the OnePlus Watch 3 available in the U.S. at a more competitive rate, despite ongoing market challenges. The company expressed gratitude towards its user community for their continued support and understanding.
With its remarkable battery life and unique, robust design, the OnePlus Watch 3 was previously a hard sell at its elevated price. Fortunately, the reversal of this price increase took just 18 days, which is encouraging for both existing and potential customers.
OnePlus has also revealed plans for a smaller version of the smartwatch, expected to launch later this year, along with the introduction of LTE connectivity to facilitate music streaming and phone calls without needing to have a phone nearby.
