OnePlus is on the verge of unveiling its next flagship smartwatch, the OnePlus Watch 3, which will succeed the OnePlus Watch 2 released last year. Early leaks have provided some insights into the upcoming device’s features and design. Notably, the OnePlus Watch 3 is expected to incorporate a rotary dial, an enhanced heart rate sensor equipped with ECG functionality, sleeker bezels, and an increased battery capacity. It has also been confirmed that a Pro variant, the OnePlus Watch 3 Pro, is in the works.
Recent investigations into the OHealth app, which serves as the companion app for both OPPO and OnePlus smartwatches, have revealed the presence of the OnePlus Watch 3 Pro name. This variant appears alongside the standard model in the app’s code under the model number WWE251, which was also seen listed in the FCC database.
In an interesting development, OPPO seems set to introduce rebranded models of both the OnePlus Watch 3 and Watch 3 Pro. This follows last year’s launch of the Watch X, a rebranding of the OnePlus Watch 2. According to the coded information uncovered, OPPO is planning to roll out the Watch X2 series this year, which will feature the OPPO Watch X2, OPPO Watch X2 (46mm), and OPPO Watch X2 Pro. Each of these OPPO models shares the same model codes as the OnePlus Watch 3, reinforcing their status as rebranded versions.
Details about the OnePlus Watch 3 Pro and the equivalent OPPO variant remain limited at this stage. However, initial code analysis suggests that the OnePlus Watch 3 may only be available in a single black color option.
