Sleep No More is set to auction various items from its celebrated set and props, following the closure of the immersive production at the McKittrick Hotel earlier this month.
The auction, titled “Take Upon You What is Yours,” will commence on January 30, giving enthusiasts a chance to acquire unique memorabilia from the acclaimed hotel. Among the items available are artifacts from The King James Sanitorium, a remarkable keepsake from Lady Macbeth’s quarters, and distinctive treasures from the vibrant shops on High Street.
Bidding will be accessible on sleepnomoreauction.com until January 30. Participants are required to make purchases using a credit card and must organize local pickup at The McKittrick Hotel by February 5. Each auction item is an authentic element from the Sleep No More experience, showcasing a unique story and condition that reflects its time within the hotel.
Sleep No More concluded its run on January 5, 2025, after a matinee performance at The McKittrick Hotel, located at 530 West 27th Street. Initially scheduled to wrap up on January 28, 2024, the show’s immense popularity prompted multiple extensions to accommodate its dedicated fanbase worldwide.
Developed by Punchdrunk and produced by Emursive (co-founders Jonathan Hochwald and Arthur Karpati) in partnership with Rebecca Gold Productions, Sleep No More began its previews on March 7, 2011. Over its 14-year tenure, it attracted more than two million audience members.
