Oppo has recently unveiled the design of its upcoming Find X8 Ultra through social media channels. The images depict a device that aligns closely with the aesthetics of the Find X8 Pro, while an earlier prototype featuring a large black semi-circle is confirmed not to enter production.
Meanwhile, the Find X8s+ is expected to maintain a similar design, while the standard X8s will showcase a smaller camera island, as suggested by earlier leaks. Oppo has even shared a brief promotional video highlighting these devices on Weibo.
The latest iteration, the Find X8s, is reported to feature a sleek bezel and a lightweight build. While these specifications had been anticipated, current visuals allow us a clearer view of the phone’s design.
Initially, there were rumors that the Find X8s might be labeled as “mini” or “Next,” but Oppo has opted for a more straightforward naming strategy for its latest offerings.
Oppo Find X8 Ultra • Find X8s+ • Find X8s
Unlike its predecessors, the Find X8 and X8 Pro, which featured an alert slider on the left side, the new models, including the Find X8s+ and the X8 Ultra, will forego this feature, opting instead for an alternative button layout. The Ultra variant will retain a touch-sensitive key on the right side, which functions as a camera shutter and allows zoom adjustments through swiping. The X8s+ is notably missing this particular feature.
The formal announcement of these devices is anticipated on April 10, coinciding with the launch of the flagship Pad 4 Pro tablet and the Watch X2 mini.
Currently, it seems that these new models will not be available on a global scale, but journalists plan to cover the event for firsthand details from the company.
