Veteran actor Paresh Rawal, known for his collaborations with iconic figures in Bollywood such as Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan, recently shared his insights on their distinct acting styles. He described Aamir’s approach as minimalist, emphasizing a performance style that avoids excessive gestures. In contrast, he lauded Salman’s inherent charisma, which effortlessly captivates audiences. Moreover, Rawal commended Shah Rukh for his resilience and notable performance in the film Swades (2004), asserting that the unique qualities of each actor contribute equally to the film industry. He expressed that there is no hierarchy among the Khans; instead, each actor offers something valuable to their craft.
During an engaging segment on The Lallantop, Rawal was queried by an audience member about his preference among the three actors, to which he responded thoughtfully.
Rawal stated, “In terms of work ethic, I believe Aamir excels. His style is devoid of showy gestures, which is distinct from Salman, who naturally embodies a variety of mannerisms and possesses a unique charm. Meanwhile, Shah Rukh stands out for his determination. His performance in Swades exemplifies this dedication, showcasing his versatility. Therefore, when it comes to their acting skills, I don’t think anyone is better or worse. They all shine in their own right, each bringing a distinct flair to their roles.”
In addition to discussing the Khans, Rawal confirmed the highly anticipated production of Hera Pheri 3. While he refrained from divulging specific plot details or a release date, he mentioned that fans can expect the film to premiere in 2026. Currently, Rawal is immersed in the making of Bhooth Bangla, directed by Priyadarshan, where he reunites with Akshay Kumar. Furthermore, he is set to appear in other projects, including Thama, Nikita Roy, and Ajey: The Untold Story of a Yogi.
