The Town Hall has recently revealed an impressive lineup of renowned artists for its first Spring Shout benefit concert dedicated to honoring Lin-Manuel Miranda, scheduled for Monday, May 19. This exclusive event will feature exhilarating performances by original cast members from the celebrated productions Hamilton and Freestyle Love Supreme, alongside previously confirmed performers from In the Heights and Warriors.
The concert aims to take attendees on an auditory journey through Miranda’s vast creative landscape, showcasing his initial inspirations and the influential figures that have shaped his artistic expression. A star-studded ensemble of Tony Award winners, freestyle artists, and Broadway legends—including Miranda’s close friends and collaborators—will come together to pay tribute to his significant contributions to the arts.

During the event, Lin-Manuel Miranda will be honored with The Town Hall Vanguard Award, which acknowledges his groundbreaking influence and creative works that align with The Town Hall’s mission of promoting artistic excellence, encouraging civic dialogue, and commemorating community contributions. Additionally, Tom Wirtshafter, the Town Hall Board President Emeritus, will receive the Friend of the Arts Award in recognition of his impactful leadership and steadfast dedication to the performing arts.
