Exciting Titles Arriving on PlayStation Plus This May

This May, PlayStation Plus is set to introduce a trio of exciting games, cheered by fans. The upcoming titles are the highly-praised Balatro, Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun, and Ark: Survival Ascended. All three games will be available to subscribers starting May 6.

Balatro, a creative blend of poker mechanics and roguelike gameplay, has garnered a devoted following. Its simplistic yet enchanting gameplay has captivated numerous players. Many find themselves lost in the thrill of forming complex combos as they engage with the game. A significant addition to the PS Plus lineup, Balatro will be accessible on both PS4 and PS5, solidifying its place as a must-try for subscribers.

Ark: Survival Ascended is a reimagining of the 2015 title Ark: Survival Evolved, rebuilt with Unreal Engine 5. This revamped edition features enhanced graphics, a new physics engine, and a multitude of quality-of-life updates. In addition, it includes all the downloadable content (DLC) expansions like Scorched Earth, Aberration, Extinction, and both installments of Ark Genesis. It also supports public multiplayer for up to 70 players and offers local split-screen for two, making it exclusively available for PS5 users.

Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun delivers a first-person shooter experience set in the beloved Warhammer universe. Nostalgically designed with inspiration from classic 1990s shooters, it provides a varied arsenal of weapons and expansive levels teeming with enemies to defeat. The game promises a fast-paced and exhilarating experience for action game enthusiasts on both PS4 and PS5.

However, with the introduction of these new titles, some older games will be leaving the PS Plus service. Subscribers must act quickly, as they only have until May 5 to add games like RoboCop: Rogue City and Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory to their libraries before they are no longer available.
