Exciting Guest Star Lineup for Poker Face Season 2 Revealed
The fan-favorite Natasha Lyonne series, Poker Face, is set to elevate its game with an impressive array of guest stars in its upcoming second season.
Peacock recently confirmed that Method Man, Awkwafina, Simon Rex, and Corey Hawkins will be joining the cast, promising to enhance the already star-studded ensemble.
This season aims to compete with other popular shows like Elsbeth and Saturday Night Live, which are known for attracting major talent.
Method Man, widely recognized as a member of the legendary Wu-Tang Clan, has made significant strides in acting. His notable film roles include performances in How High and Garden State, alongside a memorable stint in HBO’s groundbreaking series, The Wire. Currently, he appears regularly on Power Book II: Ghost.
Awkwafina continues to expand her impressive portfolio, having gained acclaim for her series Awkwafina is Nora From Queens. She is also known for her role in Marvel’s Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and is set to feature in the latest season of Black Mirror.
Simon Rex made headlines with his acclaimed performance in the indie film Red Rocket in 2021, showcasing his resilience in the industry. Corey Hawkins, recognized for his powerful performance in Straight Outta Compton, adds another layer of talent to the mix.
Interestingly, Hawkins stands out as the only member of this newly announced cast not to have released a hip-hop single despite his impressive acting credentials.
This latest casting announcement adds to a long list of previously confirmed guest stars that includes Giancarlo Esposito, Katie Holmes, Gaby Hoffmann, Kumail Nanjiani, Sherry Cola, Kevin Corrigan, Ben Marshall, Kathrine Narducci, and Cynthia Erivo.
