Authorities have reported no injuries following a minor vehicle collision that may have involved Virginia Giuffre, a prominent figure in the Jeffrey Epstein scandal. Giuffre, who has alleged serious misconduct by various high-profile individuals, recently claimed that the incident left her in a critical condition with just days to live due to kidney renal failure.
On Sunday, Giuffre recounted her distress on social media, stating that she was in a dire medical situation after allegedly being struck by a school bus traveling at high speed. In her post, she expressed a heartfelt desire to see her three children, from whom she is currently estranged.
According to police reports from Western Australia, where Giuffre resides, a collision occurred on March 24 in the rural area of Neergabby, about 12 miles from Perth. The local police confirmed that the incident involved a car and a bus but emphasized that there were no reported injuries.
Kylie Whiteley, the Acting Commissioner of Western Australia Police, noted that the crash was classified as minor, and damage to the car was estimated at around $2000 AUD (£968). It was also mentioned that the bus driver reported the collision the day after it occurred. However, the connection between this particular incident and Giuffre’s claims has yet to be substantiated.
Facing Critical Health Challenges
Following the reported accident, Giuffre shared a photo of herself lying in a hospital bed, visibly bruised, where she revealed the severity of her health condition along with her emotional struggles regarding her children. In her Instagram message, she conveyed the gravity of her situation, stating, “I’ve gone into kidney renal failure, they’ve given me four days to live, transferring me to a specialist hospital in urology.”
Sky Roberts, Giuffre’s father, expressed his concern in interviews, describing her state as one of depression and longing for her children. He highlighted the urgency of her situation, stating, “She’s got four days unless she gets another opinion from another doctor.” He emphasized his intent to remain strong for her during this challenging time.
Giuffre’s recent separation from her husband of over two decades has compounded her emotional distress. She has been residing in a small town in Western Australia for the last few years. A spokesperson indicated that Giuffre is receiving the necessary medical care and is grateful for the support she has been receiving from friends and the public.
Over the years, Virginia Giuffre has been a vocal advocate for victims of sexual abuse, detailing her harrowing experiences involving Epstein and his associates. Her allegations against the Duke of York, claiming he raped her as a minor, led to a significant legal battle that ended with an out-of-court settlement in 2022.
Despite the resolution of her lawsuit, Giuffre’s life has been marred by the trauma of her past and ongoing challenges, including her recent expressions of sorrow regarding her relationship with her children. Just a week prior to her accident, she shared her pain on social media about feeling distant from them, stating, “I miss them so very much. I have been through hell & back in my 41 years but this is incredibly hurting me worse than anything else.”
