The 2025 Pickathon festival, celebrating its 25th year, will be headlined by notable artists such as Portugal. The Man, Taj Mahal, Julien Baker, Torres, and Haley Heynderickx. This beloved event is set to take place at Pendarvis Farm in Happy Valley, Oregon, just outside of Portland, from July 31 to August 3.

Pickathon stands out for its unique format and immersive experience, presenting a diverse lineup that also features talented acts like Fruit Bats, Reyna Tropical, Ocie Elliott, Surprise Chef, Dummy, and many more. This year’s festival will once again create a platform for lesser-known artists who are gaining recognition.

In keeping with its tradition, Pickathon places a strong emphasis on showcasing emerging indie-rock talent poised for mainstream success. Previous years have seen the rise of acts like Wednesday, Courtney Barnett, MJ Lenderman, and Geese, who all had their early performances on Pickathon’s scenic stages.

“For 25 years, Pickathon has been a platform for discovery,” noted Zale Schoenborn, the festival’s founder. “We’ve showcased artists who have gone on to headline major festivals and stadiums, and this year’s lineup is no exception. But Pickathon is more than just music; it’s about building a community, fostering creativity, and crafting extraordinary experiences that inspire transformative connections.”

Additional acts scheduled for the event this year include Wild Pink, Rose City Band, Cactus Blossoms, Jenny Don’t and the Spurs, The Rumble, and Thee Marloes, adding to the festival’s rich tapestry of talent.

Tickets are currently available for purchase through the festival’s official website.

In a significant move to secure the festival’s future, organizers have launched a non-profit initiative called Creative Neighborhoods. This initiative aims to foster transformative experiences through collaborative design, focusing on empowering future workforces, strengthening community ties, and inspiring the world through unique events.
