The beloved star of “Mismatched,” Prajakta Koli, has officially exchanged vows with her partner of over ten years, Vrishank Khanal. They celebrated their union in a close-knit ceremony at Oleander Farms located in Karjat, Maharashtra. The wedding was the culmination of several pre-wedding celebrations held over the previous days, resulting in a romantic event surrounded by family and close friends.
On February 25, Prajakta took to social media to share the first images from their wedding, featuring a series of touching snapshots with Vrishank. Her caption was brief yet significant, marking the wedding date “25.02.25” along with a red heart and nazar amulet emoji.
Vogue India reported unique insights into the couple’s love story, noting, “After 11 years together, Vrishank proposed to Prajakta during a camping trip in West Virginia in September 2023. As they planned their wedding, they envisioned a simple, nature-inspired celebration, and that aspiration was beautifully realized today,” as highlighted in their Instagram post.
In an exclusive chat with Vogue, the couple expressed their relaxed vision for their wedding day. “We encouraged our family and friends to attend in pajamas if they wished. Our priority was for everyone to feel comfortable and have a good time,” they mentioned. Staying true to their theme, both Prajakta and Vrishank chose elegant yet casual attire designed by Anita Dongre. Prajakta looked resplendent in a sage and gold lehenga featuring Parijat motifs and detailed Pichwai artistry, while Vrishank looked equally stunning in an ivory sherwani.
