Nintendo recently confirmed that pre-orders for its anticipated Switch 2 console will officially open on April 24, 2025, in the United States. The pricing for the console has remained stable, with the standalone version priced at $450 and a package that includes Mario Kart World available for $500.
In contrast, the cost of most accessories has seen a revision. Consumers should anticipate an increase of $1 to $10 for these accessories, with the majority experiencing a price rise of approximately $5.
Notably, an accessory that was not included in the initial announcements is the 256GB Samsung microSD Express Card, which will be priced at $60.
In a slight divergence from accessory price adjustments, the games maintain their original pricing structure. Mario Kart World is still priced at $80, while Donkey Kong Bananza retails for $70, a point of contention among critics who suggest these games were already overpriced.
