In the latest analysis of the 2024 presidential election results, it has been reported that over 90 percent of the counties with nearly final tallies showed a swing towards former President Donald J. Trump. This change, observed as of early Wednesday, indicates a significant shift in voter sentiment compared to previous elections.
Trump not only maintained but also improved his electoral margin in 2,367 counties, while experiencing a decrease in only 240 counties. The analysis also identified 536 counties where the vote counts were insufficient to draw conclusions.
Support for Trump throughout his three presidential campaigns has fluctuated. However, the initial findings from this election reveal that even in states where Vice President Kamala Harris was reportedly leading, there was a noticeable shift towards Trump.
