Liverpool’s Premier League Medal Allocations for 2024-25
As the Liverpool squad celebrates their triumph in the Premier League for the 2024-25 season, twenty-one players have secured their place in history by making at least five appearances, thus earning themselves a medal.
Here’s a breakdown of the players who have contributed significantly this season:
Goalkeepers: Alisson Becker, Caoimhin Kelleher
Defenders: Trent Alexander-Arnold, Conor Bradley, Virgil van Dijk, Ibrahima Konate, Joe Gomez, Jarell Quansah, Andrew Robertson, Kostas Tsimikas
Midfielders: Ryan Gravenberch, Wataru Endo, Alexis Mac Allister, Harvey Elliott, Curtis Jones, Dominik Szoboszlai
Forwards: Mohamed Salah, Diogo Jota, Darwin Nunez, Luis Diaz, Cody Gakpo
In contrast, Federico Chiesa, the Italian forward signed for approximately £10 million from Juventus last summer, has managed to make only four brief appearances this season, totaling 33 minutes. This limited involvement has raised questions about his integration into the squad.
Additionally, Vitezslav Jaros, serving as the third-choice goalkeeper, and young striker Jayden Danns, currently on loan at Sunderland, have each played in only one match.
The distribution of medals allows Liverpool to reserve 16 additional awards, reflecting their depth and commitment to recognizing contributions from various team members.
Manager Arne Slot, along with his assistants Sipke Hulshoff and Johnny Heitinga, is anticipated to receive medals as well. Notable support staff, such as physical performance coach Ruben Peeters and individual performance coach Aaron Briggs, may also be recognized for their roles in achieving this championship.
Apart from the main squad, seven young players who have not appeared in the Premier League but have participated in other competitions are also in the mix. These players—Trent Kone-Doherty, Isaac Mabaya, James McConnell, Tyler Morton, Rio Ngumoha, Amara Nallo, and Trey Nyoni—represent the future of Liverpool and their potential to contribute in upcoming seasons.
Even with the intention to allocate medals to all of the aforementioned individuals, Liverpool finds itself with three medals yet to distribute, showcasing the club’s promising talent pipeline and the ongoing challenge of balancing recognition and rewards within a successful squad.
