New Pringles Flavors Capture Grill Essentials Without the Heat
As summer approaches, there’s nothing quite like gathering friends and family for a relaxing evening on the patio or in a backyard, with good food at the center of the experience.
If you relish cooking outdoors, you might already be familiar with the delightful taste of beer can chicken—a dish renowned for its tender, flavorful meat. While grilling this classic delicacy is undeniably enjoyable, it often requires considerable time and effort. Luckily, Pringles has partnered with Miller Lite to offer a convenient alternative that packs the essence of these beloved flavors into a snack.
Introducing two innovative Pringles flavors: Beer Can Chicken and Grilled Beer Brat. These new crisps aim to bring the nostalgic tastes of summer cookouts straight to your snack bowl, without any grilling necessary. According to a press release from Food & Wine, these crisp snacks will soon appear in stores, offering “the flavors of your grilled favorites” infused with the beer-like essence of Miller Lite.
While both snacks are inspired by traditional beer-infused dishes, their distinct flavor profiles set them apart. The Beer Can Chicken flavor combines savory roasted chicken notes with garlic and onion, layered with the light beer flavor that fans of Miller Lite will recognize.
On the flip side, the Grilled Beer Brat flavor features the smoky essence of grilled brats, embellished with hints of black pepper, caramelized onion, and warm spices, all complemented by that familiar light beer taste.
Limited Availability for Seasonal Delights
These refreshing summer flavors will only be available for a short duration. Starting in May, shoppers can find these limited-edition snacks at retailers across the nation. However, consumers should act promptly, as supplies are expected to fly off the shelves.
In a statement, Mauricio Jenkins, Pringles’ head of marketing for the United States, emphasized the brand’s commitment to introducing innovative flavors. “We strive to surprise and delight our fans, and teaming up with Miller Lite allows us to blend iconic summer flavors into a single delicious bite,” he commented. “We can’t wait for our fans to enjoy these unique crisps.”
Miller Lite also acknowledges its integral role in the culinary world during summer cookouts. The brand’s light lager often finds its way into fan-favorite recipes. Ann Legan, vice president of marketing for Miller, noted, “We understand that fans incorporate Miller Lite into many grilled favorites, so it’s a natural evolution to adapt those flavors into a savory snack for backyard barbecues.”
Rumors about this collaboration began circulating on social media in late January when food influencer Snackolator showcased images of the limited-edition cans. With a following of over 600,000, the post ignited mixed reactions among fans eager to learn more.
Some users were hopeful that the Beer Can Chicken crisps would mirror the beloved—but since discontinued—Rotisserie Chicken flavor from 2021. Others, however, expressed doubts about the combination of flavors. Given the widespread joy of pairing grilled chicken, bratwurst, and potato chips during summer gatherings, there’s optimism that these new snacks will satisfy cravings.
Official confirmation from Pringles on Instagram solidified the excitement surrounding the Beer Can Chicken flavor, leading followers to eagerly await further details regarding the launch.
Whether you’re at a lively cookout or just looking to channel summer vibes from the comfort of home, these new savory snacks will soon be available for you to enjoy.
