Quarry and Lime Kiln Buildings in Manor Lords
Currently, players can only mine stone by constructing a Stonecutter Camp. However, the next updates will introduce two new buildings to enhance this aspect of the game.
Quarry: This facility will be built on rich deposits to facilitate the continuous extraction of stone.
Lime Kiln: A new element being added is Lime, which will be produced at the Lime Kiln. This will introduce further resource dynamics to the game.
Lime is essential for advanced stone construction, as stone is necessary for creating various advanced buildings. The introduction of the Quarry aims to streamline stone mining, potentially reducing the labor needed.
Upcoming Content Highlights for Manor Lords
Apart from these buildings, a plethora of new content is on the way with future updates for Manor Lords.
River Fishing: Typical river fishing spots will replace pond resources when rivers are present in a region.
AI Improvements: Enhancements to the AI will allow it to construct and manage a small village more effectively.
Records View: A new interface will provide comprehensive details regarding local production and consumption trends.
Upkeep System: Several new structures will require regular maintenance, such as the smithy, which needs a steady supply of tools, and deep mines which will require planks.
Further enhancements include improved pathfinding, camera controls, and a rework of progression mechanics. Some level one castle components have also received updates.
Manuscript-Inspired UI: Ongoing graphic enhancements feature manuscript-inspired art, extending to resource node locations on the map.
