On the work front, Radhika Apte is gearing up for her debut as a director with the upcoming action-fantasy film, Kotya. The film is set to be released in both Hindi and Marathi and will be produced by filmmaker Vikramaditya Motwane. It has been described by Variety as a story about a young migrant sugarcane cutter who discovers she has superpowers following a challenging medical procedure, ultimately using her newfound abilities to liberate her family from financial burdens.
