In the interview, Rahul stated that while Alia has achieved significant success and demonstrated care for their sister, Shaheen Bhatt, he feels a disconnect in their relationship. He characterized Alia as being “paani kam chai,” an expression indicating that he views her as lacking in comparison to Pooja’s abilities, attractiveness, and overall charm. Despite recognizing Alia’s capabilities and public relations acumen, he remarked that she is “not even half” of what Pooja represents in their family.
Rahul elaborated on his perspective by acknowledging Alia’s achievements but still maintaining that Pooja stands out amongst their siblings for her talent and moral integrity. “She has got talent. She has the universe with her. She understands PR. She has everything and when you have everything, the universe conspires to make it happen. In my opinion, she is not even half of what my real sister Pooja is. Not in talent, not in looks, not in terms of being sexy,” he commented.
