Ranveer Allahbadia Returns with Podcast Following Controversy

Ranveer Allahbadia, widely recognized as BeerBiceps, has spoken out after facing significant backlash due to his controversial comments on the show India’s Got Latent. Reemerging with a new podcast episode on his YouTube channel, Ranveer addressed the challenges he has encountered over the past month.

The latest installment features a conversation with Buddhist monk Palga Rinpoche, and previews of the episode were shared on Ranveer’s Instagram. Throughout the podcast, he opened up about personal obstacles and expressed gratitude for Rinpoche’s support during tough times.

During their discussion, Ranveer stated, “We’ve met twice before in my life, sir, and you’ve always appeared at times when I was facing difficulties. Today, I’m facing a huge challenge that I never thought I’d encounter, so I’m very grateful. Thank you, it was great meeting you.” He announced his return by stating on Instagram, “Missed you all. TRS is back.”

Palga Rinpoche acknowledged Ranveer’s efforts, saying in Hindi, “I’m grateful for the work you’ve been doing for many years, which has benefited millions of people through this platform. I’ll always pray that you continue this great work, bringing not only education but also motivation to people.”

Ranveer’s heartfelt remarks resonated with many fans, prompting an outpouring of encouragement in the comments section. Supporters commended his determination and heralded his return after enduring significant public censure.

On the eve of the podcast release, Ranveer marked the end of his social media break by posting warm images with family and friends. He shared pictures of himself at home with his laptop, enjoying time with his grandmother, and playing with his dog. Captions accompanying the photos included, “Thank you to my loved ones (red heart emoji). Thank you, universe (folded hands emoji). A new blessed chapter begins – Rebirth…”

The Controversy Surrounding India’s Got Latent

Ranveer found himself at the center of controversy following his appearance on India’s Got Latent, where he posed a questionable query to a contestant: “Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join in once to make it stop forever?” While panelists, including Apoorva Mukhija and Ashish Chanchlani, initially laughed at the remark, it ignited substantial backlash online, culminating in multiple FIRs against both Ranveer and the show’s producers.

The situation intensified when the National Commission for Women (NCW) intervened, leading Ranveer to issue a written apology. Although the Supreme Court provided him with interim protection from arrest, it condemned his comments as “vulgar” and criticized him for holding a “dirty mind” that reflected poorly on societal values.

In a subsequent apology video shared on X (formerly Twitter), Ranveer acknowledged his mistake, stating, “My comment was not only inappropriate but also not funny. I apologize to everyone I’ve hurt.”
