In a shared Instagram Reel, Ballerini is depicted making her way to one of the show’s signature red chairs, where she discovers a note waiting for her.
As she unfolds the letter, viewers hear McEntire’s voiceover warmly conveying her thoughts: “Dear Kelsea, I heard you would be the new voice coach this season and I’m just so excited for you. It’s up to you to keep country alive on this show, and I know you’ll do a terrific job. Now go out there and show those boys who’s the boss.”
The note concluded with a sweet personal touch: “P.S. I left you a little good luck charm in case you need it. Love, Reba.”
Upon inspecting her new chair, Ballerini found a shimmering tiara resting on the seat. Donning the tiara, she remarked, “I feel so… fancy,” nodding to McEntire’s 1991 rendition of the Bobbie Gentry classic.
This season, Ballerini joins fellow coaches Michael Buble, John Legend, and Michael Levine, further enriching the diverse panel. She is also in the midst of her headlining tour, Kelsea Ballerini Live On Tour 2025, with recent performances at significant venues such as Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena.
Last year, Ballerini released her album Patterns, which marked a major milestone in her career by achieving her first No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart.
