Reba McEntire Reunites with Co-Stars on Happy’s Place

In an exciting twist for fans of classic television, the upcoming episode of Happy’s Place, titled “Sisters Ink,” will feature another reunion of the beloved cast of Reba. The episode is set to air on Friday, February 21.

Following the appearance of Steve Howey in a previous episode, Reba McEntire is reuniting with Christopher Rich, known for his role as Brock Hart on Reba. In Happy’s Place, Rich will portray Maverick, a tattoo artist. The storyline revolves around Isabella (played by Belissa Escobedo) gifting Bobbie (McEntire) matching sister mugs, prompting Bobbie to come up with a meaningful gift of her own.

As the characters navigate the gift-giving process, Isabella anticipates that both she and Bobbie will be getting matching tattoos, hinting at humorous situations ahead. Concurrently, Steve (Pablo Castelblanco) and Takoda (Tokala Black Elk) embark on a quest to uncover the whereabouts of Emmett (Rex Linn) during his unexplained absences from the kitchen at Happy’s Place.

For those less familiar with the Reba series, Christopher Rich’s character, Brock Hart, added significant drama and comedy to the show, particularly due to his affair with Barbara Jean, played by Melissa Peterman. This episode marks one of Rich’s first appearances on television since recovering from a stroke in 2018, making his return particularly poignant.

McEntire expressed admiration for Rich’s courage in resuming his acting career, stating, “For him to have the courage to come do this and make everybody feel so comfortable… he did have a stroke and he’s back acting, and that gives such inspiration to other people. You can do it.”

Rich himself has shared his determination to deliver a solid performance, saying, “I’m gonna get to the finish line. I may have to limp across it, but I’m getting there.”

Peterman also reflected on the special chemistry among the cast, noting, “There’s magic here… and when you get to play with people that you have such a shorthand… you don’t have to explain stuff. You know that we’re gonna get each other. And also, I’m not gonna lie, it’s fun when the audience just gets so thrilled and tickled to see us all back together again.”

Viewers eager to witness this nostalgic reunion can tune in to Happy’s Place on NBC.
