RJ Mahvash stated she would only date someone if she intends to marry.
Recently, discussions have emerged regarding the relationship status of RJ Mahvash and cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal.
Speculation around Chahal’s personal life has intensified following his divorce from Dhanashree Verma, with many suggesting that Mahvash is involved with the athlete. Although seen together at various cricket events, Mahvash has publicly declared her single status and expressed her reservations about traditional marriage.
In a recent interview with Yuvaa, she elaborated, stating, “I’m very single and content. The idea of marriage as it stands today doesn’t resonate with me. I only consider dating someone if I genuinely see a future with him. Casual dating is not my approach. Like the character Ali from Dhoom, I often envision the future, including children.”
Her social media presence has further fueled dating rumors, especially after a recent Instagram post that went viral. During the ICC Champions Trophy final in Dubai, the radio host shared a touching video in which she hints cryptically about her ideal partner. She remarked, “If a boy comes into my life, he will be the one… he will be a friend, a best friend, a boyfriend, a husband…”. The accompanying caption, “Bas ek hi hoga,” has led many to believe she is subtly addressing her relationship with Chahal.
On the other hand, Chahal’s relationship with Dhanashree remains a topic of public interest following their high-profile divorce. The couple’s split, reportedly finalized with Chahal agreeing to an alimony of Rs 4.75 crore, has raised questions, especially after Dhanashree’s recent music video, which many interpret as an indirect reference to infidelity. In a possible rebuttal, Chahal was spotted in a T-shirt that stated, “Be your own sugar daddy,” leading observers to speculate it was a subtle commentary on his former marriage.
Although the specific reasons for their divorce were not disclosed, entertainment journalist Vickey Lalwani suggests the couple faced a significant disagreement regarding their living arrangements. After marrying in December 2020, they initially moved in with Chahal’s parents in Haryana. However, shortly thereafter, Dhanashree expressed a desire to move to Mumbai, a preference that reportedly created tension between the couple.
