Claire engaged in a discussion with Tanja Katharina Kaiser, a prominent researcher at the University of Technology Nuremberg. The focus of their conversation revolved around how incorporating evolutionary concepts can enhance decision-making processes within teams of robots.
Tanja Katharina Kaiser is a distinguished senior researcher leading the Multi-Robot Systems Satellite Lab at UTN in Germany. Her research team is dedicated to fostering the development of adaptive multi-robot systems, which are essential for tackling intricate challenges observed in real-world scenarios through the application of artificial intelligence. Tanja completed her PhD in robotics at the University of Lübeck in 2022. Prior to her current role at UTN, she gained valuable experience through postdoctoral positions at both the Technical University of Dresden and the University of Konstanz.
In every episode, Robot Talk delves into the fascinating realms of robotics, artificial intelligence, and autonomous machines, bringing listeners closer to the innovations that are shaping the future.
