In a recent discussion on the Game Changers podcast hosted by Komal Nahta, filmmaker Rohit Shetty clarified rumors surrounding a supposed conflict with Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. Shetty asserted, “Nahi aisa kuch nahi,” affirming that their relationship remains strong and respectful. He elaborated on their collaboration, noting that after the success of their film “Dilwale,” they made a decision to establish their own production house. “We resolved to make our own films—if we incurred losses, they would be ours, though we have not faced any losses to date,” Shetty explained.

Meanwhile, actor Gaurav Khanna spoke candidly about his relationship with his “Anupamaa” co-star, Rupali Ganguly, during an interview with Siddharth Kannan. Although he praised her acting skills and expressed admiration for her as a performer, he was clear about their classification, stating he wouldn’t consider her a friend. “Main Rupali ko friend nahi bolunga (I won’t call her a friend). She’s an incredible person from whom I have learned a lot,” Khanna remarked. He indicated that a friend is someone one can easily reach out to, a dynamic he doesn’t share even with colleagues like Sudhanshu Pandey.

In other developments, Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt took to social media to express his outrage following the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir. He condemned the assault that left civilians dead, emphasizing that silence is not an option. Dutt urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with Home Minister Amit Shah and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, to take decisive action against the perpetrators. “They killed our people in cold blood. This can’t be forgiven; these terrorists need to know we are not staying quiet. We need to retaliate,” his tweet read.

Lastly, it was reported that Lalit Manchanda, a 36-year-old actor recognized for his roles in Bollywood, was found deceased in his home in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. Authorities confirmed that his death was a result of suicide, following a prompt response to a report received about the incident. Upon arrival, officials discovered Manchanda’s body and facilitated its transfer to a medical facility for a postmortem. As of now, no suicide note has been found.
