Saif Ali Khan starrer Jewel Thief released on Netflix on 25th April, 2025.

Saif Ali Khan has made a notable entrance into the world of streaming with his latest film, Jewel Thief, now available on Netflix.

With over thirty years of acting experience, Saif Ali Khan has consistently embraced opportunities to explore various formats, including OTT platforms. He recently expressed his perspective on how these platforms have enriched his acting journey. Khan emphasized that he no longer categorizes films as “big” or “small,” believing that each project deserves his full dedication and effort.

In his words, “There were a few queries directed at my manager about my involvement in television. I hold TV in high regard; it’s an incredible medium. However, I perceive Netflix series as distinct from traditional television. Every opportunity to perform is a valuable privilege, and with age, I’ve come to appreciate that more. Whether it’s a major film or a lesser-known project, what matters is the chance to contribute meaningfully, and that requires total commitment.”

Khan ventured into the OTT landscape in 2018 with his role as Inspector Sartaj Singh in the critically acclaimed series Sacred Games, alongside stars like Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Radhika Apte.

He now returns to the streaming arena with Jewel Thief, an action-driven thriller that premieres on Netflix India on April 25, 2025. The film boasts a talented cast, including Jaideep Ahlawat, Kunal Kapoor, and Nikita Dutta, and features Khan as a charismatic thief caught in an intricate web of deception, romance, and vengeance.

Directed by Kookie Gulati and Robbie Grewal, Jewel Thief is penned by Sumit Aroraa and produced by Siddharth Anand and Mamta Anand under Marflix Productions.
