Kuldeep Singh Kaswai from Rajasthan buys 817 tickets worth Rs 1.72 lakh for Salman Khan’s film Sikandar to distribute for free.
Sikandar premiered in theaters on March 30, 2025.
In an extraordinary display of fandom, a dedicated admirer of Salman Khan made headlines after purchasing 817 tickets for the film Sikandar—which cost a staggering Rs 1.72 lakh—solely to give them away for free. Imagine walking into a theater and hearing, “A fan already bought your ticket!” That was the experience for many eager viewers this past weekend.
Kuldeep Singh Kaswai, hailing from Jhumru in Rajasthan, ensured that the first-day show of Sikandar would be memorable for fellow fans. This is not an isolated incident; Kuldeep has a history of extending such generous gestures for previous Salman Khan releases, including Antim: The Final Truth and Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.
Kuldeep’s plans included distributing all 817 tickets at the Gaiety Galaxy theater in Bandra, Mumbai, stating, “I keep doing something or the other for Salman Khan,” highlighting his ongoing devotion to the actor.
On December 27, 2024, during Salman Khan’s 59th birthday celebrations, Kuldeep again demonstrated his commitment by donating clothes worth Rs 6.35 lakh from Being Human, Salman’s charitable clothing brand, to those in need.
On a regulatory note, Sikandar has successfully secured a UA 13+ rating from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). Notably, the board made peculiar demands, including muting the term “Home” from “Home Minister” throughout the film and requiring a political party hoarding to be blurred. Despite these adjustments, no visual edits were applied.
Directed by AR Murugadoss, Sikandar marks the exciting debut collaboration between Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna. The film also features a talented ensemble cast, including Sharman Joshi, Prateik Babbar, Anjini Dhawan, and Kajal Aggarwal. With its release coinciding with Eid, Sikandar has reestablished Salman in a robust action-oriented role, signifying a major return to form for the acclaimed star.
