In the latest episode of Bigg Boss 18’s Weekend Ka Vaar, host Salman Khan engaged the housemates in a thought-provoking session that kept viewers captivated. He addressed various critical issues while sharing insights from his own life experiences. One of the standout moments involved Salman calling out Rajat Dalal for his behavior of intimidating fellow contestants and boasting about his influential connections. Alongside this reprimand, Salman imparted a valuable lesson on the importance of humility, drawing from his past to underline the significance of learning and growth.
The episode began with Salman welcoming three new wildcard entries, light-heartedly teasing the male contestants who appeared overly enthusiastic about the newcomers. He took a moment to inquire about Yamini Malhotra’s background, to which she responded that she is both a practicing dentist and lawyer, but has a passion for the entertainment industry. Salman’s playful remark, “Aaj kal drama karne wali hi aa rahi hai life mei sab,” elicited laughter among the participants.
As the discussions unfolded, contestant Shilpa Shirodkar mentioned being preoccupied with a dispute involving Rajat Dalal during the wildcard introductions. Salman directly addressed Rajat’s attitude, cautioning him against issuing threats based on his alleged network of associates. He advised that such conduct could rebound negatively, especially considering that all actions are recorded for the show.
In a direct and didactic manner, Salman declared, “Agar muje kisko kuch chetavni deni hai, kisi ko lalkaarna hai toh mai kisi aur ke naam se nahi karunga. Mai karunga toh khudke balbute pe karunga. Agar mere mei shamta hai shakti toh jise panga lena hai mei le lunga (If I want to threaten someone, I will do so on my own terms, not through proxies).”
He further encouraged Rajat to prioritize his family duties rather than resorting to empty threats. “Abhi jaake humne aapka ek problem handle kiya hai. Joh aapne kaha aur jab TV par dikhayi diya tha (We have resolved one of your issues after your comments on TV),” Salman revealed, emphasizing the potential long-term implications of Rajat’s behavior. “Mere upar bhi bohot saare cases hai toh mai jaanta hu (I’ve faced numerous legal issues myself, so I understand well).”
The episode also highlighted Salman’s insights on body language and the impact of posture when in front of the camera. He cautioned Rajat to be conscious of how his actions may be perceived. In an interesting exchange, Rajat explained his habit of sitting with one leg over the other, a posture that Salman admitted he sometimes adopts as well. Salman’s reflection on a past incident where his posture at a police station was misconstrued illustrated the importance of maintaining a respectful demeanor.
Sharing his journey, Salman recounted his transition into adulthood at around 17-18 years old, expressing how he sought forgiveness from those he had wronged as he moved forward in pursuing an acting career. He recounted, “Humne sabne 17-18 saal ki umar mei pichli zindagi ko bohot dur chod diya hai. Sabse jaake maafi maang kar aaye hai ki ‘Jitne jhagde the, hero ban raha hu, chod de bhai.’ Aur sab bade khush hue ki actor ban jayega kya, humara support tere sath hai (At that age, I left my previous life behind and asked for forgiveness, telling everyone I was becoming an actor; they were happy and supportive).”
