Salim Khan recently praised Salman’s upcoming film Sikandar, referring to it as the “best”.

Salman Khan has candidly discussed the hurdles that his parents, Salim and Salma Khan, encountered throughout their marriage. During a promotional event for his new film, Sikandar, the Bollywood icon shared insights with the media in Mumbai regarding his family’s dynamics. Salman emphasized that the principal challenge in his parents’ relationship was not rooted in their differing religious backgrounds, but rather in the implications of Salim Khan’s career in the film industry.
“It was never about the difference in Hindu and Muslim cultures and customs; the predominant concern at that time was, ‘He is from the film industry,’” Salman remarked, as noted by Hindustan Times.
Salim Khan and Salma have four children together: Salman Khan, Arbaaz Khan, Sohail Khan, and Alvira. In 1981, Salim further expanded his family by marrying actress Helen.
In recent statements, Salim Khan has shown enthusiasm for his son’s upcoming film, Sikandar, declaring it the “best.” He stated, “Best. Dekh ke lag raha hai iske baad kya hoga, iske baad kya hoga, ab kya karte hai,” expressing his anticipation for the film’s impact.
Sikandar, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by AR Murugadoss, is touted as one of the most ambitious projects in recent times. The film stars Salman Khan alongside Rashmika Mandanna. Visually, Sikandar is complemented by captivating cinematography from S. Thirunavukarasu, while editing is managed by Vivek Harshan. The music score is crafted by Pritam, featuring lyrics penned by Sameer, with the background score developed by the renowned South Indian composer Santhosh Narayanan.
At the recent trailer launch for Sikandar, Salman Khan discussed his experiences on set, highlighting the rigorous demands placed on him by director Murugadoss, particularly during high-intensity action scenes, which pushed him to excel. Notably, Salman also shared that he took on early morning shoots for this film, a commitment he had previously avoided for past projects.
Sikandar is set for theatrical release on March 30, coinciding with celebrations for Eid-ul-Fitr.
