Samsung is poised to launch three new budget-friendly smartphones later this year: the Galaxy A06 5G, Galaxy F06 5G, and Galaxy M06 5G. These upcoming devices have been previously identified in various certification and benchmarking listings. Recently, they surfaced in the database of the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG), which has validated the names of all three models. It’s worth noting that Samsung had already released the 4G variant of the Galaxy A06 in India as of September 2024.

Details from the Bluetooth SIG Listings

A recent listing on the Bluetooth SIG confirms the model numbers for the Samsung Galaxy A06 5G as SM-A066B, SM-A066M/DS, SM-A066M, SM-A066E/DS, and SM-A066B/DS. The Galaxy F06 5G and Galaxy M06 5G carry the model numbers SM-E066B/DS and SM-M066B/DS, respectively.

The presence of the letter ‘B’ in these model numbers indicates that they are global versions of these devices, potentially including variants targeted at the Indian market. The smartphones are expected to feature a range of connectivity options, such as 2G, 3G, 4G LTE, 5G NR, Bluetooth, and WLAN. However, the listing does not provide specific technical specifications at this time.

Additionally, the Galaxy F06 5G and Galaxy M06 5G were seen on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website, suggesting that a launch in India is forthcoming. They have also been detected on the Wi-Fi Alliance certification website, further indicating their impending availability.

The Galaxy A06 5G has made waves with its listing on Geekbench, which suggests that it could be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, a Mali G615 MC2 GPU, and 4GB of RAM. The device is anticipated to run the One UI 7.0 based on Android 15.

In comparison, the existing 4G variant of the Galaxy A06 features a MediaTek Helio G85 chipset with 4GB of RAM. It operates on Android 14 with One UI 6 and retails in India at Rs. 9,999 for the 64GB variant and Rs. 11,499 for the 128GB model.
