Samsung Rolls Out One UI 6.1.1 Update for Galaxy S24 Series
Samsung has announced the availability of its custom Android skin, One UI 6.1.1, which debuted with the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6 back in July. This latest version is now being rolled out for the Galaxy S24 series, encompassing the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra.
The update is currently being initiated in South Korea, where users can expect to download firmware version S92xNKSU3AXH7, which is approximately 2.8GB in size. Samsung has indicated that the rollout will soon extend beyond South Korea to other global markets.
New Features Introduced
During the recent IFA exhibition, Samsung showcased some of the notable features that One UI 6.1.1 will offer. Among these enhancements are Live Translate and Circle to Search, both aimed at improving user convenience and functionality on the Galaxy S24 series, as well as the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5 models. The rollout for these foldable devices is expected to commence post-IFA.
Creativity and Connection
Samsung also highlighted that One UI 6.1.1 will introduce several new applications designed to foster creativity and enhance connectivity. These include innovative tools like Sketch to Image and Portrait Studio, which are set to provide users with additional opportunities for creative expression.
How to Check for the Update
For those residing in South Korea who have yet to receive the One UI 6.1.1 update on their Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, or Galaxy S24 Ultra, there’s a way to check for it manually. Users can navigate to the Settings app, select the Software update option, and initiate a manual search for the latest version.
